What is Stillbay?

Stillbay is a quiet private app for setting down something that keeps taking up space in your mind. You can write one sentence, look at it gently if you want to, and place it in Harbor.

Is Stillbay therapy?

No. Stillbay is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis support. It is a self-reflection and emotional offloading tool.

If you need urgent help or may be in danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

What is Harbor?

Harbor is the private place where your saved matters are kept. Stillbay does not show your matter text by default unless you choose to open Harbor.

What is "A gentle read"?

"A gentle read" is a short reflection generated after you answer clarifying prompts. It is meant to help you notice one possible pattern. It is not professional advice.

Where is my data stored?

The first version of Stillbay is designed to be local-first. If server sync or AI interpretation is enabled, the content needed for those features may be sent to Stillbay servers and trusted service providers.
