What Stillbay is

Stillbay is a quiet emotional offloading and self-reflection app. It helps you write down a matter, optionally look at it through gentle prompts, and place it in a private space called Harbor.

Stillbay is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, crisis support, or professional mental health care.

Information we may collect

Depending on which features are enabled, Stillbay may process the following information:

Information you provide

You may choose to enter:

• a short matter or sentence you want to set down
• your selected feeling
• answers to clarifying prompts
• content stored in Harbor
• support messages you send to us by email

App and usage information

We may collect limited product usage events, such as:

• app opened
• feeling selected
• writing completed
• clarification started
• interpretation created
• matter stored
• Harbor opened

These events help us understand whether the product works reliably and which parts of the flow need improvement.

Device and technical information

We may process:

• anonymous install identifier

• basic diagnostic or server log information

We do not require you to create an account for the first version of Stillbay.

AI interpretation

If you choose to use the "A gentle read" feature, the text you entered and your clarification answers may be sent to Stillbay servers and trusted service providers to generate the reflection you requested.

The reflection is intended for personal self-reflection only. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or professional advice.

How we use information

We use information to:

• operate Stillbay
• save and display your matters when you request it
• generate the interpretation you request
• maintain reliability and security
• understand aggregate product usage
• respond to support requests

What we do not do

Stillbay does not:

• create a public profile for you
• publish your private writing
• use your content for social sharing without your action
• provide medical or psychological diagnosis
